What we do with the details you send us, how long we keep them, and how to ask us to delete them. Written in plain English rather than legal language, because it is meant to be read.
Lincsol Electrical Services Limited is the data controller for the information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16173364, with a registered office at 3 Brothwell Close, Waddington, Lincoln, LN5 9TG.
If you have a question about anything on this page, or you want us to delete something we hold about you, email info@lincsolelectrical.com or call 07889 667892.
We only hold what you send us. There is no tracking, no profiling and no data bought in from anywhere else.
The contact form asks for your name, phone number, postcode, what you need and any notes you want to add. Name and phone number are the only required fields.
The EV charger remote survey asks for your name, phone number, postcode, email address and notes, and lets you attach up to three photographs. The photographs are the point of the tool: they normally show your consumer unit, your electricity meter and the wall where the charger would go, which saves us a visit before we can price the job.
If you then phone or email us, we hold that correspondence in the ordinary way any business does.
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, work out a price and arrange the work. That is all. We do not sell it, we do not pass it to marketing companies, and we will not add you to a mailing list off the back of an enquiry.
Running a website means a small number of suppliers necessarily touch the data. We use as few as we can, and none of them are advertising companies.
Each of these acts on our instructions. Some of them process data outside the UK, which is normal for internet infrastructure and is covered by the safeguards those providers have in place.
Photographs you upload through the survey tool are deleted automatically after 90 days. That is not a promise we have to remember to keep. The storage they sit in is set to delete them on a schedule, whether or not anyone thinks about it.
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept only as long as we might reasonably still be talking to you about the job, and then deleted. If we do carry out work for you, we keep the job records for as long as we are required to for certification, guarantee and tax purposes.
You can ask us to delete anything sooner. See below.
This website sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. There is nothing here following you around the internet, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner.
Our host, Cloudflare, may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working properly. Those are exempt from the consent rules because the site cannot be delivered safely without them.
We do keep a simple tally of how many people send an enquiry or tap the call, WhatsApp or email links, so we can tell whether the website is actually doing its job. Each entry records the type of link or form, the page, the time, and for enquiries the first half of your postcode and what you asked about. It does not record who you are, and it puts nothing on your device.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can also ask for it in a portable format.
Email info@lincsolelectrical.com and we will deal with it. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page. This version was published on 18 August 2026.
